Delivery Areas

We can arrange delivery throughout the United Kingdom and to selected European destinations. Delivery availability depends on the type of equipment, transport regulations, and the destination address.

For deliveries outside the United Kingdom, additional documentation, customs procedures, taxes, or import charges may apply.

Delivery Times

Delivery times vary depending on:

  • The location of the equipment
  • The delivery destination
  • The size and weight of the machine
  • Carrier availability
  • Road restrictions and special transport permits
  • Customs procedures for international deliveries

An estimated delivery date will be provided before your order is confirmed. Delivery dates remain estimates until the transport booking has been finalised.

Delivery Costs

Delivery costs are calculated individually for each order. The final price depends on the distance, machine specifications, transport method, and any special loading or unloading requirements.

A detailed delivery quotation will be provided before payment and order confirmation. No additional transport charges will be applied without prior agreement.

Equipment Preparation

Before collection, each machine is prepared for transport and secured according to the requirements of the selected carrier. Where appropriate, detachable parts may be lowered, folded, or secured to ensure safe transportation.

Secure Transport

We work with professional carriers experienced in transporting agricultural and construction machinery. Equipment is loaded and secured using appropriate transport methods to minimise movement and reduce the risk of damage during transit.

Delivery Tracking

Once your equipment has been collected, we will provide the available transport information and keep you updated on the progress of the delivery.

Our team remains available throughout the transport process until the equipment reaches the agreed destination.

Preparing the Delivery Site

The customer must ensure that the delivery location:

  • Is accessible to a heavy transport vehicle
  • Has sufficient space for safe manoeuvring
  • Provides stable and suitable ground conditions
  • Has the necessary unloading equipment when required
  • Is free from obstacles that could delay or prevent delivery

Please inform us in advance about narrow roads, restricted access, low bridges, weight limits, steep slopes, or other conditions that may affect delivery.

Receiving Your Equipment

When the equipment arrives, please inspect it before signing the delivery documents. Check the machine and any included accessories for visible transport damage.

Any visible damage or missing item should be recorded on the carrier’s delivery document and reported to GGS Construction immediately. Photographs should be taken whenever possible.

Signing the delivery document without noting visible damage may affect the handling of a later transport claim.

Delivery Delays

We make every reasonable effort to meet the estimated delivery date. However, delays may occur due to weather conditions, traffic restrictions, mechanical issues, customs procedures, permit requirements, or circumstances outside our control.

We will inform you as soon as reasonably possible if a delay affects your delivery.

Failed Delivery

Additional charges may apply when delivery cannot be completed because:

  • The delivery address is incorrect
  • The site is inaccessible
  • No authorised person is available
  • Suitable unloading arrangements have not been made
  • The customer has not disclosed relevant access restrictions

Any redelivery or storage costs will be communicated to the customer.
